Some odds and end:

This picture should have been with the other pictures of crossed swords in Baghdad.  The silver things are Iranian helmets.  It's disrectful, in the Arab culture, to step on things; so putting the helmets in the ground make sure that everyone that goes through the parade field steps on the helmets.







The Dubai Airport (below) looks a lot like a fancy shopping mall.

 Kuwait City.  This wasn't the first time I've been through Kuwait City.  But it was the first time I stayed down on the water.  It was hot, but not humid.  It was spectacularly unspectacular.

Ice Hockey in Louisiana

Yup, they actually have ice hockey in Louisiana.  They work hard to make sure there's a real show.  First, entertainment is lawnmower racing.  Second, the players are pretty easily convinced to drop gloves and fight.  Videos below.
